Floor Screed Product Line

Overview:

To design, manufacture and install a new floor screed product line from storage through to packing.

Problem:

The client had a production facility in Denmark but wanted to move this facility to England. GAME designed, sourced, installed and project managed the new facility.

Solution:

GAME provided a new product line from silo storage through to packing. All equipment was rated to suit all the various products and at the required feed rates, with a fully automated system complete with recipe selection and raw materials ordering.

The system consisted of seven new 30T storage silos, each silo fitted with a screw feeder, feeding a central 500Kg weigh hopper. The hopper fed into the plant where various additives were added. This final batch was then transferred up into the mixer top hopper, part of a continuous batch mixing 3-tier system, and then transferred into a packing bin and discharged into the 25Kg packing line.

Result:

The client was able to pack 25Kg bags at a rate of 5 bags / minute, 300 bags an hour giving an hourly rate of 7500Kg.
