Sand Packing Line

Objective:

To design and install a new packing line and feed system for kiln-dried sand.

Problem:

The client could not meet huge production demands for their kiln dried sand product range.

Solution:

GAME laid out the plant using some of the existing equipment, bagging machinery and palletiser equipment. GAME installed the bagging machinery, complete with feed hopper and supporting steelwork inside the existing building and the conveyor feed system from the sand silos, complete with all access platforms. GAME also supplied and installed all of the electrics and control systems. The plant operated at 300 bags per hour, six days a week all year round.

Result:

The completion of this upgrade enabled the client to meet the growing demand of their product with maximum efficiency and productivity. GAME were able to utilize the plants current infrastructure and optimize the systems and plant already in use to achieve their true potential output, with a minimum of fuss and disruption to the day to day operations.
